Volvo changes part numbers more often than most truck makers, so the number on the harness in your hand is frequently not the number in the parts system. Each entry below gives the number we build to, the older numbers customers still order by, and the engine it belongs to.
22018636 — ECU wiring harness, D13A
ECU harness for Volvo FM and FH trucks with the D13A engine. Volvo revised this number four times and most customers still order by an old one, so it is also supplied as 21372461, 21145813, 21060810 and 20911550. Original connector shell, imported terminals, tested pin to pin before packing.
22248490 — injector wiring harness, D13
Injector harness for the D13 engine, carrying the pulse from the ECU to each injector. On these engines a chafed injector wire shows up as a misfire under load long before any fault code appears. Supplied to 22248490; if your old harness carries a different number, send a photo of the connector and we will match it.
22041549 — engine and transmission harness, FM12 / FM13 / FH12 / FH13
Engine and transmission harness for Volvo FM12, FM13, FH12 and FH13. The same assembly is quoted against 21372691, so either number identifies the part. Sleeved for the temperature at the manifold and clipped clear of it.
17483377 — D13J
Harness for the D13J engine. The number most workshops still hold is the old one, 17441797; we build to both. Fits the D13J in FM and FH chassis, with the original brackets and clip spacing.
21814758 — D7E and D6E
Harness for the D7E and D6E engines used in the Volvo FL and FE chassis. Shorter runs than the D13 looms, but the same rule applies: every terminal is crimped to the specified pull force and the finished assembly is tested pin to pin.
20585159 — Volvo Penta
Marine harness for Volvo Penta engines, built on the same line as the truck looms with sealed connectors for an engine room. Used on both propulsion and genset installations.
82407496 — lamp harness group
Head lamp and rear lamp harness. Five Volvo numbers refer to this one part — 82407496, 82078418, 82047496, 82343408 and 209657 — and we supply it against any of them. Also covers the bulb holder that sits in the same lamp housing.

Regular Inspections:
Look for signs of wear like frayed wires, loose connections, or corrosion. Catching issues early can prevent larger problems down the road.

Connectors kept dry:
Water in a connector does not fail at once. It corrodes the pin, resistance climbs, and the fault appears months later in wet weather. Keep the seals intact and the boots seated.

Clip and mount check:
A harness that has slipped out of its clips rubs against the frame. Check the clip spacing at every service; the outer sleeve goes first, then the conductor.
